Need to fix FIT file, which was currupted.

My friend finished 1,300km riding as a randouneurs last week, however, I failed to import the FIT file from Garmin Edge 1040 to Garmin app in my phone. FIt file is in my Garmin Edge device, but file size is almost 96MB. Due to the file size, I cannot use 'Fitfiletools' because I only can upload fit file under 50MB there.

Is there anybody who help me?? I really want to help my friend and 1,300km riding must be recorded and celebrated.

Using Fit File Repair Tool, I was able to reduce the file size. Normally for a ride this long, the recommendation is to stop and save the activity at the end of each day.

Did you already try a manual upload from the Garmin device to Garmin Connect Web? - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If it doesn't work, try FIT File Viewer: Runs in the browser and is able to fix files in a lot of cases. If that doesn't work attach the file to a reply post.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Also, there is a 25 MB upload limit for Garmin Connect File Size Limitation of Manual Uploads to Garmin Connect

There are 3rd party tools that can reduce the size.
