.fit file not uploading

I have a ride that I saved on my Garmin Connect 810.

It did not upload to Garmin Connect automatically once I finished the ride and saved it.

When this happens (which is fairly often), I find the file on my computer and manually upload it, but this time I get an error message: "One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance."

The ride shows on my Garmin Connect under All Rides (it's the 122km ride on Sun 4 May - I can share a photo if needed), but when I click on it (to see summary, map etc), nothing happens.

The file is 172 KB. I'm happy to share that too - there doesn't seem to be an option here.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

hey Seilogramp

I have the same issue with a corrupted .fit file. my watch did a reset twice during my walking activity and i cannot upload the file. I have already used fitfiletools, and i can upload it to strava, but not on garmin.... i have no idea what else i can try.

Run it through FIT File Viewer: Runs in the browser and is able to fix files in a lot of cases. I tested it with yours and I was able to upload it.
