Lost software?

I have not used my Garmin Quest for three or four years and can find no connection to my computer.

Right, from the lack of responses it appears that in my ignorance I have asked the wrong question so let me set out the problem.
When I last used my Garmin Quest I remember that I used to conect it to my computer and plot my journey for the next day.
This time when I connected it to my computer I could not make a connection to anything Garmin related.
Could anyone tell me what the problem may be?

Obviously there is no point in asking a question here so I will dump the Grmin Quest and buy a TomTom.

These forums have been used mainly for the fitness devices and ore recently, the new Oregon/Dakota series. You have asked a question about a discontinued product in these forums and cannot wait for the long holiday (in the US) to pass before throwing in the towel? Yesterday and Today is a Garmin holiday so don't expect any responses.

And spewing your desire to purchase a Tom Tom may make you feel better, but is it really the right choice?

Have you looked at the Quest pages and download the latest software, if any? Seems the latest image is Quest Ver. 4.10 as of Apr 16, 2007.

You are quite right but as an insular Englishman I tend to forget your national holidays.
