Me and my wife both use the same Forerunner 405HR. Is it possible for two persons to use same equipment and have there seperate reports, analyses etc.

Think this is more a device specific issue than a Garmin Connect question, you might want to try posting it under the proper device thread beneath the "Running & Fitness" forum.
Anyway, I have an EDGE 305, not sure how similar that is to your device. But it appears that in my case the device only allows one user profile. Therefore I guess it could be done if you and your wife wanted to reenter your user profile info each time you use the device.
As far as the Garmin Connect aspect I think that would just involve y'all each having an account and logging on to the appropriate account before downloading your workouts.
If this doesn't work for you, try my approach....buy the latest/greatest device for yourself and pass down the current one to your wife. :)
But, GC won't allow different users in the "Activities" section under a single log on....(TRUE).
But what's to stop you from creating a GC account for you, to which YOU log on to and upload YOUR workouts and analyze them, with YOUR GC account.
While your wife creates her own GC Account. When she uses the device, SHE logs on with her User ID and uploads her workout to analyze them within HER GC Account.
If you both have activities on the device at the same time, simple use the select from list option when uploading from the device and just pick the appropriate activities!
