menu disappears

Hello,

I use Safari on MacOs. Since a couple of days the main menu on the left in connect disappears, even when I click the menu open button

I can open it, but when I chose an option the menu collapse again, it used to stay open. Also, since the same time the Lactate Threshold screen shows only the current data. The graph on 4w and 12w are blank.

  • Thanks @seilogramp.

That's really useful. At least I can do things now :)

Now just need them to fix the dashboard so that it works, which they seem to have known about for a while.

  • for who have the menu on win 7 with text always visible that overlaps page , if you want to use the page without the text simply reduce browser  windows size like a phone and text is hide . The links for the pages are in a prev post

  • Lorsque je veux aller sur ma barre de tâches à gauche de l'écran, je ne peux pas ouvrir "activités", "statistiques de santé", "statistiques de performance" et "entrainement et planifications"...c'est très embêtant pour télécharger des parcours.

  • Having same issue on Mac with Chrome.

Edit : Same with Safari also.

  • I have the same problem on Mac with Chrome, Firefox and on smartphone Android with Chrome and Firefox. I contacted support Garmin , they opened a ticket with technical support and I wait for the answer. Thanks Sellogramp for the links, now I can work with them

  • I have bad news. Been going back and forth with Garmin Support about this issue and after much testing with different browsers, it appears that Garmin is no longer supporting browser versions that have reached their EOL, not even those on Extended Support. My PC runs Windows 7 and the last supported versions of Chrome, Opera and FireFox and all of them have the same issue. When tested on my son's Windows 11 PC running Edge browser absolutely no issue with Garmin Connect Web.

It looks like this is going to be a very inconvenient problem for anyone who is still running Windows 7/8 and soon 10 to follow as these two versions have been obsoleted by practically all major software developers such as Photoshop, DXO, Topaz Labs etc I am hoping someone figures out a browser (that Connect Web is compatible with -- I rely on web app for a number of things such as uploading .fit files, exporting GPX, etc that the mobile app doesn't do.

EDIT: I have found Yandex browser to work just fine and shall stick to this for the foreseeable future!

  • Except that I run an up to date version of Safari on an up to date MacOS.

  • Same here.
I just ended a chat conversation with Garmin. This is because I'm using a "non approved navigator (Opera)". And because I'M on W7 as well, Chrome will not be updated.
    So frustrating all this Disappointed

Garmin says they didn't touch anything, so they are not going to correct anything. Obviously they did change something.

  • Running Win7, too.

Big thanks for the Yandex suggestion. It works; but this browser is ugly as *** !
    But... it works.

    Thumbsup
