Average Heart Rate and watts in listed segments

I only see old posts and no real resolution -- can we have both average HR and watts shown in segments for cycling? Or, better yet some degree of customization would be nice.

I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin

As a workaround, you can temporarily trim the activity in Garmin Connect to the desired segment (or any other section of interest) in order to see the requested data (and more) for the given section. The Trim function is fully reversible, so you do not have to fear any loss of data at all.

Similar to trimming, the way I have been doing it is to drag the mouse over a segment on one of the graphs to highlight that segment. But the nice (potential) thing about defining a new segment is that the routine goes back to calculate it for all historical segments, then I can bring up the leader board to get a nice table of averaged data. A bit like Strava
