Rate Activities

Hi would like to see many community-based enhancements and I'll list them as separate threads as instructed in the sticky.

I'd like to be able to rate activities. This way all users can rate activities and the best will rise to the top. With the ability to sort activities based on ratings, it'll be WAY easier to find a great route in a densely used area. For example, if I search for mountain biking at Henry Coe state park, I'll get 10+ pages of rides. If the results were sorted by rating/# of ratings it would be way easier to find the best activities.

Adding ratings will also add incentive for many users to properly title, describe, and categorize their activities. This will make looking for activities much more effective.

Surely this is essential!

As the Database of rides gets massive a simple method of rating rides is going to be essential surely. just a simple star system like these forums have would be better than nothing.

but imagine if people could also put in simple ratings based on difficulty, terrain, what type of user the activity suited.

Nothing mor frustrating than searching an area and finding 100 activities that are all the same from one user who has there default setting as public. With rankings all this kind of nonsense would slowly disappear.
