I have a 60CSx that came with Mapsource Trip & Waypoint manager Version 5.0 I use this primarily for geocaching, but have come to depend on it for it's navigating abilities too. I would like to use the route capabilities of the Trip and Waypoint manager but the maps seem archaic. I'm just wondering if this is the right program to do this with as I came across info about setting route preferences to change route style then read a note that said "you can only modify route preferences if you are using a MapSource product that supports autorouting". I found somewhere that my MapSource is v 6.12. I also purchased a North America NT micro SD Card that has the maps of the US and that is in the GPS. I'm not sure if downloading other maps to create routes are going to mess everything up. Input anyone?
