new 400c

I just got a 400c. When zooming on topos all details (topo lines) are lost below 0.8mi.
Topos are on a card from my legend which was created on a mac from the USA topo CD. What am I doing wrong?

I have seen this happen before. If you disable the BaseMap on the device you should be able to view your Topo map like normal.

To disable the BaseMap select Setup from the main page.
Then select Map.
Select Map Information and disable the BaseMap.

thanks- I figured that out already
