check distance over time

Is there a way to analyse your run once you have completed it?  I can see that you can view you pace at a given distance or time, but is there a way to see how long you took for each km of your run, or perhaps put in custom distances.  For example, I would like to see how long I took for each 2km stretch

  • Apart of looking at the Laps stats (with auto-laps 1km or 1 mile, by default, or a custom distance), and apart of using external tools or services such as Strava, Runalyze, and similar, you can also use the function Trim in Garmin Connect. It allows you to temporarily trim the activity to the section, distance, or duration of interest, review the stats and then restore the original (or not saving the trimmed version at all).

    I have been using Strava, but I was wondering if I was missing something by not being able to do it in Garmin Connect.

    I think I will ask Garmin if they can add it, and if they think it is worthwhile or enough people have requested it, then they may add it.

    I like runalyze for this exact use case, as you can (temporarily) set laps of any distance or time you want (even different distances/times for each lap)
