Help with corrupted fit file

Hi all, I finished a 5hs 30 mins triathlon yesterday, with my 935 and hrm pro + band.

When trying to save, it stayed a long time trying to connect to the hrm, I cancelled it and saved it without hrm data.

Then I disconnected and connected the band, and updated the hr data in the activity.

I can see it in the watch, but when synching with the phone via bluetooth or wifi it doesn't show up in Garmin connect

Tried importing FIT file manually but it says file is not compatible.

I have ubuntu and cannot install the fit file repair tool :(

Issue:

To possibly reduce the chances of a reoccurrence, suggest syncing your device then remove all activity fit files from your Garmin device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
