Download gpx with Safari in Mac or iPad not working

Hello,

I'm trying to download the GPX file of a cycling activity. Till Saturday 29/03/2025 it worked perfectly on both iPad and Mac with Safari. Today I'm trying to download it again and is not working. The only option that works for downloading is to report as file. But export as TCX or GPX don't do nothing.

There is a known issue where downloads of GPX or TCX files over a certain size will fail. Perhaps you are encountering this issue or a variant of it.

One workaround would be to export the original FIT file ("Export File") and convert it to GPX/TCX with a 3rd party site:

I want to upload a gpx file to my OS map app after downloading it. The OS map site requires a gpx file, but all I'm getting is text in a box. On my MacBook Air, I've tried it in Chrome and Safari, but I can't get it to work. Is it a problem with my settings?
