Golf Club Distances

Garmin Connect shows my max distance for my 8 iron is 271 yards.  Is there any way (other than going though every round) so find out which round that shot was in?  I have a few clubs showing excessive distance but don't want to go through 100 round trying to find the issue.

  • The scorecard where the incorrect distance was recorded needs correctio to adjust the max or average distances. Other than retiring/deleting the club and creating a new 8 iron club, there is not another way to correct the max distance displaying for the club.

  • The question is how can I find out which scorecard to correct?

  • The only option currently is to go through and find the round where your 8 iron measured that long to edit the shot.

Reviewing the round data on the scorecard regularly after recording the scorecard is recommended to ensure the data is correct. Otherwise if you notice the max distance for a club is displaying incorrectly, you may have to review quite a few scorecards to make the correction.

We have a bunch of threads here in forums outlining your same question where this can be reviewed for further context. I have a ticket still in-process of being reviewed for potential updates, for users here that are requesting more options for editing incorrect shot data.

If you would like to be added to that ticket just let me know, and I can get your account tagged for those wanting more editing or shot identification features

  • Yes, please add me to that ticket.  I would love better editing as well as better stats.  Thanks

  • No problem, got you added!
