Elevation data correction on imported routes from third-party apps

I've noticed that planned routes imported from third-party applications sometimes use inaccurate elevation data. I've noticed this especially with routes synced from Komoot to my Garmin account. They always show fewer elevation meters than when I planned the same route myself in Garmin. The elevation data seems to be smoothed out.

This means that ClimbPro no longer works properly when using such an imported route, as short, steep climbs are not included in the imported data.

Garmin generally offers the option to adjust recorded tracks to the elevation data from the map.

Would it be possible to make this feature available for imported routes as well? Ideally, you should be able to specify in the "Connected Apps" settings whether the elevation data should be adjusted to the Garmin map data during import.
