how to correct wrong heart rate

Hi, i am Nicolas,
i am using a garmin Fenix 8 with HRM-Pro Plus. and i notice that sometime i have the heart rate max over 200 time to time, without finding it in the heart rate graph of the day.
yesterday i noticed that my watch show me this value while i was washing the HRM.
those fake values make my fcm and "lactic" heart rate too high.
is there a way to correct those fake values in order to have a better calculated working heart rate ?
is that possible to avoid those error?
thanks in advance for your help.

Stop and save the activity before removing the strap. When there is no activity in progress, the watch is not connected to the strap.

Well, you can edit the Max HR and LTHR values in User Settings, but you cannot edit the all-day HR data, and editing of the HR in an activity would be possible only with a 3rd party tool able to edit FIT files. Alternatively, you could export the file in the TCX file, edit in a text editor, delete the original, and reimport the edited file.

Wet well the strap before use. Or use a conductive gel. Replace batteries early - sometimes the straps start to malfunction before they report low battery. Do not remove it before saving the activity.
