Is there any way to change your username? For example, my current username is xcjazzy and would like this changed. I have searched throughout the website and cannot find how to do so. Thanks in advance.
Any update as to when an alias will be allowed? I registered a Garmin product a LONG time ago and used the username you see. Now that I have a Forerunner 405 and will be allowing my runs to be public, I'd prefer not to have my name out there over and over. The same goes with my forum posts.

When I bought my first Garmin some years ago I had the bad idea to use an email adress as UserName. I cannot recall why I did that, but the point is this was a silly idea. Now that I am using Connect and am seeking to make all my activities public I'm stuck with the unpleasant consequences of that decision.
I'm thinking seriously about going along with the proposed "solution" (delete my account and start all over again). Either that or I keep all my activities private, which isn't the point.
It's been 14 months since the alias feature was last mentionned. Still no progress, as far as I can tell.
Any way of getting a ball-park figure on the availability of that new feature?
We advise against this. To maintain data integrity, please wait until we release the ability to create an alias.

I just bought my Forerunner 310XT. I created a profile but with a stupid typo (markekoznar instead of marekkoznar) and paired the device with the garmin connect user profile. So I created a new one with the correct username but now I don't know how to pair my device with the new profile.
I believe I maintain all data integrity because there have been no workouts yet.
I have no idea how my username got set to my email address but I'm really unhappy about that. Someone please let me know how to change it or I'll just have to delete this account I guess.

Same here..... would also like a way to change it or at least have the alias option so my e-mail address is not exposed public....:mad:
