I have a Forerunner 305. The timing graph shows impossibly high speeds for my run. The rate is around 2minutes/mile. It should be around 8 to 8:30. The average pace that is shown is correct and matches the average shown on the watch. When I export the data to a TCX file the speeds (which I am pretty sure are meters/sec) are still high. See two values below :
<ns3:Speed>18.635507599999997</ns3:Speed>
<ns3:Speed>8.341258999999999</ns3:Speed>
I am not sure if the problem is the data coming from the watch or Garmin Connect. I have also loaded the data on Training Center and it shows the same problem. This leads me to believe the problem is on the watch.
I have had the watch for a 10 days. My first two runs were fine - data displayed correctly. After installed the GSC-10 speed and cadence sensor for biking the problem seems to have shown up. I have the same impossibly high speeds on the bike data as well 49mph (wish I could bike that fast).
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Appreciate the help.
