Combine two running activities

Hi,

I ran a marathon but accidentally recorded it as two separate running activities.

I attempted to export both as GPX files, but the larger file won’t export—clicking on it does nothing. However, the shorter run exports without any issues. I also noticed that I can export both runs as a 'File,' so I tried merging them using https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/combiner#view. However, when I attempt to import the merged file into Garmin Connect, I receive an error stating that the file has already been uploaded.

Could you help me understand what I might be doing wrong? I'd love for garmin to create a 'merge' option.

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool

Before uploading, you'll need to first delete the original partial 7-minute activity, otherwise Garmin Connect will not accept…

FIT File Tools doesn't always work, as there may be other issues with the files. Fit File Repair Tool does a better job of this but requires a license and a Windows computer.

If you want to zip, then attach the files here we can take a look.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

There are 4 folders, of the same 2 runs. I saved them both zipped and unzipped.
