  • Definitely on Garmin's end, so many of us having the problem.  An annoying situation is an understatement.

  • Today, only MS Edge is responsive to the CTL-SHIFT-R workaround. No go for FF or Chrome.

Garmin, are you doing anything about this?

  • Today is March 19. AGAIN, where’s Garmin on this?? Can we escalate this? Suggestions welcome on how to get the attention of software support!!

As with TheRealRoadWarrior, no Garmin Connect left side index using MacOS with Safari, Chrome or DuckDuckGo browsers.

The “fix” of <ctrl> R to reload no longer has any effect, as of yesterday March 18. Previously, it had worked with Chrome and Safari. If there’s a release to address this in the works, PLEASE let us know.

Again, any suggestions on where we might direct our complaints to get a resolution or even a response from Garmin?

Contact Garmin Support directly to report the issue. The phone number and contact options will vary depending on your region and time of day.

  • Works ok on Edge with my Intel 2016 Mac Pro and MS Surface Laptop Studio 1st one. Not working on my MS Surface Pro with ARM chip.

  • Hi. I was able to send a request to Garmin 3 days ago. They contacted me yesterday informing me they have fixed it but were aware that still was not working for others. They wanted me to corroborate if it was working now for me. I told them that was still not working and I sent them a screenshot. They answered back (right away) telling me they have put a new case, have escalated it, and they will let me know when is fixed.

So in short, they are aware, they know the fixes are not working, and they have escalated it.

Annoying as it is, at least we know they are fully aware and trying to solve it.

  • Good news on escalating and the commitment to fix. Could I ask everyone following this to report progress? When you find the functionality returns, please do post here. Thanks.

From my side on MacOS, after NOT working at all, Chrome now works without Ctrl-R. However, Safari and DuckDuckGo still do not work, even after Ctrl-R.  Hoping for good news soon.

  • Looks like it's back now at least on FF...

  • Thanks for the heads-up, TheRealRoadWarrior.

Eureka! The index is back on Safari and DuckDuckGo. For now.

  • It’s also back on Safari at my end…
