Google Earth player

When I was using Motion Based for my Forerunner 205, I could export to Google Earth, which would provide a very interesting animation experience, making it seem as if you were in a plane at about 1000 feet over the course, changing perspective at each turn. I just uploaded a new race today and I am no longer getting that animation experience that simulates following the course in perspective. It offers only a top-down look at the course, which is not nearly as interesting. One of the differences in the new .kml file format seems to be all of the lap information is included, which makes the file a lot bigger. (I do endurance events using a run-walk interval of 4min/1min, each of which shows up as a "lap.") Is this the problem? Is there a way to generate the Google Earth export file without all of this lap information? Any other suggestions to get the older, better experience?

    fixed

I was able to fix this myself. Go to the Tools --> Options menu in Google Earth, and in the Touring tab, select the "Fly along lines" checkbox.

Wow, yeah i love the animations in google earth. Right now I'm using an android phone and "my maps". But I think about switching to Garmin because of calorie computation. I can imagine that you were disappointed when you couldn't "fly" anymore. I hope the fix worked for you.
