Pace zone

There's a possibility for GC to set as training reference with the fr310xt PACE instead HR ZONE?
  • thank to reply, sound strange to me, since it was possible with the fr305
May be considering a feature for the next update?
  • I wish they'll take into consideration, also the possibility in Garmin Connect to set pace training zone, like HR zone or power zone (as it is now)

    any update on this?

Pace Zones are a fundemental for structured running training plans i.e VDOT, this functionality was in TC when will it be on GC?

Okay you've dropped development and support of Training Centre and are forcing us to use your web based GarminConnect.

I use Pace/Speed zones pre-defined in training centre; all of my custom workouts are based off these training zones. I used VDOT to ensure I'm training in the correct pace zones for my targeted workout, i.e. recovery, base marathon, 1/2 marathon, 5k, 3k, 1 mile, 800m, 400m, 200m etc ....

As my fitness level changes I update the pace zones in TC and don't have to modify each and every workout. That process is great and works well (other than forcing consecuive zones). How do I use zones on GarminConnect?

I can't find pace zones aywhere. The only way is hard codong a pace into a workout; this would mean a phenominal waste of effort adjusting all my workouts as my fitness levels change. I have 80 custom workouts I use to build a training plan over a 12 to 20 week period.

Are pace/speed zones going to be added to Garmin Connect?

Why aren't they there now, after all they are in TC?

What's going on with Garmin these days.
