No TCX export for files bigger than 6MB in Garmin Connect

Hi everybody,

today I tried to export tcx files for some workouts in Garmin Connect (Web Version) and I figured out that tcx files ending up with a file size bigger than about 6MB are not converted.

Nor error message or other indication. Simply nothing happend. I tried it with different PC's and browsers. The result is the same.

A few days before it was still possible. 6MB file size is not a super long workout but something around a 3 hours bike ride.

Does anybody out there facing the same problem?

FWIW, I just managed a 6.1MB TCX export, but a longer ride just didn't do anything.

If you check the browser console, then you will probably notice an HTTP Error 504 when requesting the data from the URL https://connect.garmin.com/download-service/export/tcx/activity/xxxxxxxx

The HTTP 504 Gateway Timeout server error response status code indicates that the server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, did not get a response in time. I would retry it later, in less busy hours, and if it does not get better, I'd report it to the Support.

Thank you for your feetback. Yes, now I see the HTTP 504 timeout as well when I look at the browser console. No improvement up to now. I'll get in touch with the support, I guess.
