305 upload problems

On and off all day yesterday and today I've tried uploading my last two runs without any luck. I've tried uploading "new" activities and also tried "select from list" and both hang at 81% every time and never go any further.

I don't have any other browser or internet connection problems. Any ideas what the problem is?

Same thing all day today. I checked and have all the latest software, usb driver and communicator plug-in. The upload process gets to 81% complete every time and hangs. I did notice on my 305 it appears to have removed them as new activities but they aren't in Garmin Connect.

I'm thinking Motion Based wasn't all that bad...

I found a post in Troubleshooting telling a user to clear the cache on their browser. Makes no sense to me at all but I've tried everything else over the past three days.

I cleared the temporary internet files and it now works? Don't ask me why it works, but thought I would post in case it might help someone else.

There wasa post from a moderator. I have the same issue, its your history files are large and hanging. I have found that once you retry a few times it will go. Once you get it all done (to all places TC etc) clear your history once in a while (about every 2 weeks for me) seems to help and I have yet have it happen since I did this.
