cannot get proximity alerts in my Dakota 20

Hi,

I set non-route proximity alerts in my GPX files (gpxx extensions -> Proximity ...) but I dont get any acustic alarm when I am inside the distance set.

I get the "proximity: 20m" message if I use POI loader to transfer the proximity waypoints to the Dakota (checking the point in Extras), but no alerts when Im at that distance.
