I know it's a "Feature Requests" preference to have one request per thread....However, most...if not all of these have been posted already.
Numerous people on this forum on numerous occasions have asked for better information on what updates will be rolled out, and when...along with the possibility to rank or vote on future updates.
Since there's little or no indication of any of those happening, thought I would share my list....
Feel free to chime in or post your own!
In no particular order:
1. Ability to sort activities on a secondary and tertiary field.
Example: While it's nice to be able to sort on activity name or date, being able to sort by date within Activity Name is a MUCH more powerful tool!
2. A Free form "notes" entry for an activity
Example: Who did you ride with, did you have a flat, who got dropped, etc. etc. etc.
3. All fields editable after an activity has been manually entered.
It makes no sense to allow people to ENTER 15+ fields and not allow them to edit but TWO of them.
4. Allow manual entry of all Health fields not just weight.
Limiting the full ability of this feature to those with ONE particular Tanita scale that works in conjunction with only TWO Garmin products makes no sense!
5. Separate weekly totals by sport.
Mingling running time and distance totals with cycling time and distance makes a neat feature useless.
6. Add the ability to edit an activity.
Adding or removing laps or fixing bad data would be great. However, at a minimum, the ability to truncate the end of a workout would be huge. It's extremely frustrating to realize you finished a ride 20 minutes ago and forgot to hit stop...something most of us have done.
7. Equipment Tracking!
8. User defined Activity types.
9. Dot Racing!
This and many other MB features would be greatly appreciated!
10. Time, Distance, and Speed within Zone.
Since # 10 is on the Coming soon page (whenever that might be)....
I'll give a bonus item: "Moving Average"!
The frustrating part is that probably over half of my wish list would be small tweaks and changes to existing features. However, the result and added benefit to the software would be HUGH!
I'm sure one day GC will get there, just hope I'm still around to see it! :)
