unable to save gpx file

I can not save a gpx file for my activity. I think because the file is too big. Others work ok. Is there a way to save as 2 files or are there other solutions?

    If you need just the GPX track, save the activity as Course, and then export the Course as GPX. Usually it works from Courses, even when it fails directly from the activity. Otherwise, you can also use the default export option (a zipped FIT file) and convert it to GPX with an external tool.

    And yet another possibility is exporting the activity from Strava (assuming you have a Strava account linked to your Garmin Connect).

    Thanks, I exported to FIT and then converted it
