Badges for historical activities

Does anyone know how far back you can go to earn badges? I have run 73 marathons with most of them recorded with old Garmin devices back to 2004. I would love to see those show up on my Garmin marathon badge list (I currently can only get them back to 2014). Thanks!

    The Marathon badge is available since 2018 Apr 3, hence only activities after that day apply. Are you sure you got the badge for a Marathon in 2014? If really so, then try editing and saving the old activities, but normally no activities prior the badge release date get awarded.

    Not true. I have them back to 2013, but I have marathons back to 1997. I think I have to go in and change the device I used to a new one in my account.

    Interesting, for most badges it did not use to work prior the release date. Perhaps it changed. As I wrote, try opening the  activity, edit it, and save. Make sure the distance is greater than 42.2 km. Even a few missing meters would void the badge. If the recorded distance is smaller, edit the activity and change the distance.
