:mad:The recent software update made my approach g5 basically unusable because of a change to "increase battery life" by dimming the back light. The only way I can now use it is in direct sunlight. Every device on the market allows the user to control the back light. It should be my choice to use more batteries if I need to. If I could return the unit, I would, because so far, no one seems willing to address the problem. Using a cart mount means the unit is in the shade which makes it unusable because it is so dim. Why?
