How to send an activity to Garmin connect for public viewing

Noticed your thread. I would like to send an activity to Garmin connect for public viewing but i have not worked out how to do it. Have seen the "share" and "export" buttons but not sure how they work. A simple explanation would be be much appreciated.

First make sure your activity is public. If the lock is open, then it is a public, shareable activity. That means that you could post a link to your activity and anybody will be able to view it. You don't need to use the "share" or "export" to do that. If it is closed, then only you can view it. To change it to public, mouse over the lock and click on public.



Additionally, you can do this for many activities simultaneously by using the quick edit link on your activities page.

The share link is for sending your link to the various social web sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, etc., that are listed when you mouse over or click on the share link. You would have to have an active account on whatever site you choose.

The export link is for exporting your activity as a tcx (xml formatted) file to your local PC. This comes in handy for importing into Garmin Training Center or manipulating the raw xml data.

I'm new here and I cannot find the list of public activities loaded by others onto Garmin Connect. MotionBased was easy and obvious, just click the tab. Help.

Public activities are found in Explore. Click that tab and you'll be able to search all Public activities.

I don't see the share link

i marked my activities as public, but i cant find them under explore.

how long does it take till i can find it with the search?

I'm having the same problem. I'm not seeing my own activities that i'm sharing. The only activities i see are Minneapolis.

share icon don not work

i cant, send to facebook, my information, i check all inf is public, and the icon for share, don not work, any one know , what happend
