Remember me? GC never does!

Each time I sign in, I check the "remember me" box. So far, GC has never remembered my User-Id. Why doesn't this seemingly simple feature work?

I'm using a recent version of FireFox on a fairly up to date Windows XP.

I'm using a recent version of FireFox on a fairly up to date Windows XP.

Using FF and Vista on this (where I am right now) machine and no trouble. IE and XP on other machines and no problem. Maybe try clearing your cache?

Comes up with name as soon as first letter is input. I see this on a number of other sites so it's not just GC. Using Firefox as well so maybe it's a 'security' feature of the browser.

The site won't send me email notifications, but it DOES remember me! Hmm. Maybe that's my problem...
