Forerunner 405: screen stuck on battery life

After charging my Garmin this morning, the watch is stuck on "Battery life 96%". I can't get at any of the other screens such as Time, Training, menu etc. I'm pretty sure it wasn't locked either, but if it was, it won't unlock. Light doesn't work either. Any ideas? :confused:

Try a soft reset.

Hold down both hard buttons (same time) for 5-7 seconds

Stuck on Garmin Screen

My garmin forerunner 410 got stuck on the Garmin screen. I reset several times but still goes back there. Is there any other way to reset it. Thanks for your help.
