my account does not show option for connecting strava

hi there,

I am new to the garmin connect site. my husband has been using it for years and today he convinced me to create an account and start logging my various activities.

i have created a new account in garmin connect app. all my activity data is currently tracked in Strava and My Zone. i would like to link garmin connect to Strava and my zone, so all activites can be viewed in Garmin connect. I followed the instructions, but i dont have this option in the garmin connect app. could you help.

Go to Strava and connect Garmin Connect from that side: https://www.strava.com/settings/profile

Garmin will sync activities to Strava, but not the other way around. Afaik, Strava will only sync courses and segments to Garmin. More info here: support.strava.com/.../216918057-Garmin-and-Strava

Typically people who use Garmin Connect will record their activities with a Garmin device, and have the activities sync from Connect to Strava, if they want to use Strava. (Unlike Strava, Garmin Connect does not allow you to record activities only using the Connect app on your phone.)

If you really want to record activities with Strava have them show up in Connect, you could use a 3rd party app such as RunGap (iOS).

But Connect is really meant to be used with activities recorded by a Garmin device.
