Garmin 60CSX with downloaded City Nav DACH+Alps NT NFG

Just purchased downloadable City Nav DACH+Alps NT and have been trying repeatedly to download into a 60CSX. Download is active for 50% of the green bar, then drops off, and the 'time remaining' jumps to 35+ minutes.

And then when it finally completes, there is nothing on my device. I go to re-download and the prompts tell me there is already a file on my device with this name, and do I wish to replace it.

Am I missing a step? I have ample space on a now-empty SD card. I am using Windows XP and IE8, and have switched to a Chrome browser as well in the troubleshoot.

My vacation starts tomorrow, why is it I always have GPS map issues at 11 pm the night before it all begins?

I have a 60Csx, and IIRC, it doesn't accept the NT version maps. I believe those are for the newer "Nuvi" class of device. Don't hold that as gospel, but that's where I'd look first.
