Not sure why this was locked. This is an important request. It's been 10 years. Multiple posts from others requesting a reasonable timeline on this change.
Creating workouts would benefit from improved flexibility and functionality. I've been trying to use epix pro to track. Not really good at weight tracking since you should be progressively overloading. Creating workouts are a pain and it's nearly impossible to track progress vs other apps.
1. Use a completed activity to create a workout (per the post). No functionality, this needs to be added after 10 years of waiting. You have to recreate every strength activity. E.g. you did 40 total sets, mix of lifts. Guess what, you have to add each individual sets, weight, rest, each manually. That's over 120 inputs at least. Takes about 30 minutes to create a workout plan. Takes 1 minute on paper...
2. Add functionality copy selected exercise and duplicate. That'll cut down adding in each rest after the same exact exercises. E g. 1minute rest. Add after each exercise.
3. Add a recovery option that doesn't need an exercise tagged to it.
4. Allow custom exercises. Garmin app has a lot, but not all.
