OK, I imported the activity all right, and can confirm that exporting it as GPX or TCX results in a file containing just an almost empty XML envelope. Changing the activity type does not help either. Looks like a bug on Garmin's side. I recommend reaching out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com.  

However, I am able to export the activity in the original FIT format (it is the first option "export file"), and as well I am able to save it as Course, and then export the GPX file from the Courses page. So if you need just the GPX track, without the heart rate data, that is the way to go.

 what do you call the courses page ? and what is for you   "save as a course" ?,  i don't understand this , as i use french version of connect

 i tried to change the activity type as course , same result ko when i export  in gpx

I have also found  a workarround   solution :export  activity as fit file and then use  a web  converter solution likes https://www.alltrails.com/fr/converter.

It's working   (only  track) but  if  your solution  is quick ; i take it.

I try to open a ticket  at support garmin, but  the chat isn't working  (the pop up window disappears) and i 'am not confortable for  call with my  poor english

In the French version of GC, Courses are Parcours.

There is a local support in almost every country, France including. So the staff speaks French.

After exporting activity as course, when i open  the course page, i see the course but the  only  possibility that i have is  to export  this file on the watch , as this file is comming initialy from the watch as activity , i don't see the point except  if can copy  the file  in gpx format after synchronize with  the  watch  ?. But  in this  case , where is located this file on the watch directory,   i can't find it.

You right, i have found a garmin  french  support, so i  with open ticket with them.

Forget my last message, i have found the option to export gpx from course page, sorry for it.

It's a good workarround solution , i will use it , in waiting  an anwser from garmin support.
