No Garmin ACTIVITY folder

When plugged into my laptop there's no activity folder showing. I have runs recorded in the history of my watch and uploaded successfully to Gamin Connect so can't understand why I can't see any FIT files?

Any ideas?

It should be in the Garmin folder. Which folders do you see?

Does your watch support music?

Is your laptop a Mac?

Do you actually not see the watch as a "drive" at all when you plug it in to your laptop?

If the answer to all of those questions is "yes", then you need an MTP app to view the files on your Garmin, like https://openmtp.ganeshrvel.com/.

Regardless of whether you use Mac or PC, if Garmin Express is running, you should close it before trying to transfer files off the watch.
