questions. . .Location, Migration, Weather

I'm unable to find the post at the moment, but there was a post by one of the GC team saying that the location naming feature had been suspended soon after it was started due to some server problem (may not be recalling the exact reason properly) but that the process would be started again soon. I've only got one activity with a location which was uploaded while the process was running. Once restored, the location field is slated to be filled in for all activities.

Haven't seen any recent updates regarding weather (coming soon) or progress on the migration. Was in a similar situation myself recently when I wanted some data on some IM bike segments and couldn't access the data in either location. MB in the least does appear to be working for me again now though. Hopefully these longer activities will make it over to GC soon.

I am glad I am not the only one still waiting on some of the migration.
I had a marathon in may that still hasn't been completely migrated over. I found the activity by the time it took, but no title, no map, no data.... yet it was perfectly fine on MB.

one other feature that is making me nuts... MB listed "moving speed" or "moving pace" for every activity in addition to overall speed. Am i just missing it somewhere on GC or is it really simply not there.

this new site, is a let down so far. I haven't even looked at my ironman stuff yet, I cannot imagine it has been transferred.

You might find this post enlightening as to why you don't have detail data for your marathon.

Short explanation is that the summary data on GC was likely uploaded from your device rather than migrated from MB.

Like many others, I am patiently waiting for most of my longer data to be transfered. It is a pretty big disappointment that Motionbased is now down, while Garmin Connect isn't fully up and running. I just finished a half-marathon, and would have liked to compare it to previous ones, but GC hasn't migrated any of my 10+ mile runs.

Questions:
Has anyone had "location" data show up?
Any more news on migration? Weather?

you are correct about location, we'll be resuming that as soon as we possibly can.
