New Ride not showing on GC Goal

Former Member
Former Member
I just uploaded a ride that I finished today (09/13/09) at 1:30PM, but it does not show on my Cycling Goal of the week (09/07 - 09/13), set to end at the end of today (09/13/09). I verified that the Activity Type and Event Type match my Goal's and still nothing.

Any Inputs?

Thanks,

    Bug on Garmin Connect Goals

This appears to be a bug with Garmin Connect. I have just emailed Garmin Support to report the same problem, below. Hopefully they will fix it ASP.

    Ross McLeod

"I have set a series of 7-day goals which begin on Mondays, and should in theory calculate all the running I do from the Monday to the following Sunday, inclusive. This is what the FAQ* states: 'When creating a goal, what do the different “Measure over” periods mean?' - "7 days: you have seven days from the start date to log activity against your goal."

I have a problem though: I am finding that the run I do on the Sunday is not counting towards my goals - All that gets counted in the running I do in the first _six_ days of the week. Unless I'm missing something, this seems to be a bug on the website?

How can I ensure that all 7 days worth of running is recognised in my goals screen, please?

PS Just found another posting complaining of the same problem: http://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=1404
Rather disappointing that it's taking Garmin over two weeks to fix what one suspects is only a single line of AJAX code: one of the reasons I spent $400 on a Forerunner 310XT was that I expected decent support for Garmin Connect. Garmin please take note - your credibility is on the line: Timex and other competitors remain an option.
