My 310xt froze yesterday mid-workout. After a hard reset, the unit transferred data to Training Center and to GC. However, my entire activity history on GC is corrupted, i.e., many activities have been duplicated and data such as activity name have been lost and now read "untitled". Any suggestions on how to repair my GC activities and prevent this from happening again?
Sounds like all your activities from your 310 are being sent again to Garmin Connect. Are you seeing any history on your device? If you successfully did the hard reset, then there shouldn't be any history. The new activities are probably coming from the ANT agent folder. Can you post a link to some of the problematic activities? I'm looking at your activities here: http://connect.garmin.com/explore?owner=HERSHDOG. What I can see looks fine, so I don't think there is a corruption problem, but if you've got untitled activities, those are uploaded from the watch or ANT agent. If those are not duplicates due to resending of the same activities, then you need to give them a title and categorize them.
I definitely see on my connect activities page many duplicate activities and untitled activities that I had previously labled. we must be looking at different two different pages.
If they are untitled, they are not viewable to the public. So makes sense that I can't see them. Are these activities duplicates of activities that are already in GC? See some of my other probing questions. Thanks.
thanks, that may indeed be the case but I don't know what that means nor how it will fix my problem of all of these duplicate activities on garmin connect. I'd really appreciate Garmin support to contact me and help me fix this. :)
