Health graph does not display data

I am using Internet Explorer 8, latest version. I have data uploaded to the Health area of Garmin Connect and have also entered manual data. The problem is that the data does not display in the graph (although the data appears in the lower half of the screen under "Measurement."

The graph itself displays -- for example with "Weight" on the Y axis and "Date" on the X axis. But the graph itself is blank. If I run the mouse to the correct spot on the graph (which is invisible and located by trial and error), I get a balloon pop-up with the summary (weight/date). Clicking on that will produce the details for that date in the Measurement section on the lower half of the screen (i.e. "Body Fat, Body Water, etc").

I don't know if this is supposed to be a bar graph or a line graph because that is what is not being displayed. How can I get the graph to display?
  • HAPPYRUNNER999,
I faced/resolved the same situation as you describe:

    IE7: at work: Works fine

IE8: at home initially not working,.,,,,

    On IE8
try Clicking the broken page icon, to run in compatibility view.....

I had to do the same thing for the player....

Let me know if this works for you

The author of this tip (working for me):

Jollycity, worth trying a possibly simple solution. See the 'broken page" button just to the right of your address field in the top toolbar of IE? That button toggles on compatibility view for webpages that might be having some issues displaying properly in the most recent version of IE. Try clicking on that to toggle on compatibility view and see if that might clear things up...?
  • What a great world when you can get an answer in less than 30 minutes!! Yep, that worked great. Now "garmin.com" is in my compatibility list so I only had to click on the "broken page" icon once and it is remembered for future visits.

P.S. In case anyone is searching for this fix in the future, I did have to do one extra step. To display the compatibility button, I had to right click on a unused area of the menu bar and click on "Compatibility View Button" before it appeared. This may be a function of how I set up IE8 when first installed, so it might not apply to everyone.

It is just a question of setting your priorities right...

I was preparing a technical call( starts in 10 minutes) with an ASIC (IC) tool provider,
anything is better than speaking with a sales office :D

    Glad it worked for you..
