Manual Upload in GarminConnect

Garmin Connect only accepts tcx files. It is likely there is something wrong with the file. If you attach the file to a reply to this thread, someone may be able to take a look and fix it.

Problem uploading to Garmin Connect

I am getting the "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" message as well when I try to upload my .tcx file from Training Center. I would try to attach it, but it is 129MB, which is way bigger then the ~9MB max size allowed. Any ideas? Thanks!

They must have changed this, since they turned off uploads on MotionBased. I successfully uploaded a gpx file to connect.garmin.com today using the Manual Upload method.

Have a problem with manual upload to GC.
When i tried to upload .gpx file error appear.

GC can be very finicky about tcx files and reject them for minor errors, while other programs import them no problem. At this point, you have two choices: 1) look at the tcx file to see if there is an obvious error that you can fix; 2) use mapmyrun or Sporttracks to export a tcx file and upload that file into GC.

The name of your device is missing in the <Name>-tag.
I put TestGarmin as device name and could upload your file without problem in Garmin Connect.

I am unable to upload a GPX file too (although help page promotes GPX so that means this should be supported). I am getting "Some activities could not be created." No activities are created. Using Czech language version of Connect.
