Zumo XT Group Ride Unknown

I have a Zumo XT with Group ride radio

I can start a ride and others see me to connect to the ride

We sync and join BUT we can NOT see each other on the map - the others who join are labeled as "UnKnown" and myself if not moving - stopped

The exact same occurs if others start a group ride where my location will be unknown

We do have the settings set to allow to see each other etc... Have tried everything

Learning the Garmin support is very little despite the cost!!

PLEASE HELP

Have had one time the others can not join - gets stuck on joining

UPDATE - Garmin responded.....

the Group Ride radio I have is for Australia and im in NZ - it will not pair with others in NZ only AUS units.

So be wear - the GPS is loaded with AUS and NZ maps BUT not compatible.

Long shot but anyone out there knows how to change this which i assume is impossible please do let me know.

If you are planning on riding around the work and have group ride - all units will need to be compatible with one another.
