For Garmin Clipboard you can disconnect the app, but I believe there should be some other way to remove yourself from a team. Maybe you do it in the clipboard app.

Yes, indeed, there is the option "Leave Organization" in Garmin Clipboard Profile » your team » at the very bottom of the Organization Settings.
And just in case the OP meant the coach of the Garmin Coach Plans, then that's not a true coach. It is just an algorithm, nobody reviews users' data in order to adjust the workouts. It is the watch that does it automatically.
