Forerunner 305 Cannot Upload to Garmin Connect

I've brought this up in a similar thread but since it was deemed am entirely different issue I figured I would make my own thread. Ever since the last site update I can no longer upload anything form my FR305 to Garmin Connect. The error I receive is shown below:

TypeError: this.activityDirectory is null or not an object

I have cleared all browser cache, and have tried using Firefox and Internet Explorer 8. Stranger still, if I try repeatedly to upload, once in a while (I'd estimate one of every 15 attempts) it will work. I have tried this on two different computers with the same result.

    Check that you are on the latest version of Garmin Communicator plug-in. Other than that, possibly firewall or anti-virus software blocking your attempts. However, you say it works occasionally. Might be a flaky connection through your ISP.

    Much simpler answer - got to the preferences on your browser and clear out the entire cache.

    Then it works fine....

    If you had read my entire post you would have seen that the browser cache has been cleared.

    The issue persists. My Internet connection is fine.

    Have tried repeatedly this morning after a run with no success. Same errors. Cache cleared. No connection issues. This all started with the last update to the site.

    At this point you should probably call Garmin Support. 8 days of this is too much for anyone . :(

    I have the same problem. Started a day or so ago. I get different errors if I use Google Chrome or if I use Internet Explorer, but net is that connect.garmin is broken. (yes I cleared my cache too).

    I upgraded the Garmin Communicator Plugin to 2.8.1 and now I can upload using Explorer (Chrome still fails).

    TypeError: this.activityDirectory is null

    Anyone on this thread who was experiencing this problem ever get it resolved? I have had it the last 4 days. Have been talking to Garmin support, and they tell me it is a system wide problem impacting all users. Say IT is working on it, but it still isn't fixed. Surprised I'm not seeing more noise on the forum about this if it is affecting others.

    We're uploading fine with a FR305, an Edge 305 and FR310XTs. Maybe New Zelaand is different
