setting alarms on Map60csx

I am aware that the Map60csx does not have an alarm feature like my old Vista did, but I read on Vann's website that you can set an alarm using the clock on the Map60csx. Does anyone know how to do this or is the info on Vann's mis-stated? Thanks for your help.
