Mapping Multiple Graphics

Feature Request:

It would be great if it were possible to show multiple activities (i.e. several routes that I have run) in one view of Google Maps ... We all can easily see each individual route that corresponds to the single activity chosen ... but imagine I wanted to "overlap" a week's worth of runs in one view to show how much of the city I have seen ... Perhaps there could be an option on the Activities Tab that, once you check the box, you can say "Combine/Overlap Routes"Now that'd be cool! ...

...and since it's free to ask/suggest, well, they should enable color-coding to the routes ... so that you could discern them individually in the same map that holds multiple runs (Even COOLER: maybe this could work through "coloring" the date on the calendar (like in Outlook) and then telling Garmin Connect to import the chosen days into the Mapped Graphic ...

Great idea, eh?...

    Displaying Multiple Activities

Yeah, I would really like to see this feature as well. I have a goal to walk all of the trails and streets of my town and would like to be able to easily discern if I have met this goal or which streets I am still missing.

Multiple routes on a single map

Yes, I think this is an awesome idea as well.

    Yes! Yes! Yes!

I have been hoping for this for two years now. It is exactly the reason I've been trolling this forum. I would love to be able to see all, or a selection of my runs on a map at once.
Does anybody know a way to export them to a separate street map file so this can be done manually?

I just got here and I'm hoping for the same as I cant see a way to put future events on the Garmin Connect calendar...
  • Hi,

I got bored waiting for this to become available, so I knocked up a web app that does it:

    http://www.irreverence.co.uk/activities/

You just "upload" the activities that you want to display on the map by entering the individual URLs (or IDs) of each activity, and the web app goes off and downloads it. Hopefully the info on the front page gives you enough info.

The web app isn't finished yet, I only knocked it up last week, but it does allow you to see everywhere you've been. You can also change the colour of activities to make them multi-coloured, if you are so inclined.

Give it a go and let me know what breaks. Stuff will break, I guarantee that, since I only wrote it last week. Oh, it needs your activities to be publicly available, otherwise it won't be able to download them (seems obvious, but probably worth pointing out).
