Fix Garmin FIT File

Does it exist on the watch? If so, try a manual upload from your Garmin device to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

• Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
• Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Unfortunately I did not find fit file in the activities folder, but I found the file that matches the time in the FbtPtdBackup folder

That's not it, and the file is so tiny that it is nothing of value.

Also, check the TempFIT folder. Some watches will store data there. On my Epix (Gen 2) it is here - 

This PC\EPIX\Internal Storage\GARMIN\TempFIT

If all else fails, there's a chance the file was inadvertently deleted by you or the system. There's a remote chance it can be recovered only if you haven't used your watch much since this event. More info here - how do I get my activity back if I delete it?

I just cannot believe, my activity was erased without a trace :(

I searched all the *.fit files on the watch that matches date and size (screenshot included). Also I packed Records.fit file although it was overwritten at 12.17.24
