I just ordered City Navigator NT for my 60CSX. garmin has an update, City navigator NA2009 for my 2610 Street Pilot. What is the difference and do I need both?
NT mapping is a slightly different version of mapping that works on newer devices. NT mapping will work fine on your GPSMAP60CSx but it will not run on your 2610 as this uses the older, non-NT version of the mapping. NT mapping wasn't available when the 2610 was designed and produced, so it was never intended to take into account this type of software.
