I have a Garmin Forerunner 405 cx and Garmin foot pod. I paired, calibrated and have used the Foot pod. When I sync the data to Garmin Connect, the reports page has dashes (--) for steps. Why? How do I make it such that it reports number of steps (like a pedometer).
As far as I know, the Forerunner 50 and 60 are the only units that report number of steps.
I'm not sure if this is something that could be added to Garmin Connect in post-processing or not. Could get an approximation by using the cadence values maybe.
