I have a simple eTrex unit that I have been using to upload data to MotionBased for a few years.

Is this device not suppported by Garmin Connect?

At this time, Garmin Connect only supports the Garmin Fitness product line:

Forerunner 310XT
Forerunner 405/405CX
Forerunner 305
Forerunner 205
Forerunner 301
Forerunner 201

FR60
Forerunner 50

Edge 705
Edge 605
Edge 305
Edge 205

Support for other units should come later.
